Late Rally by Beehive Secures Win

The Madison Beehive took Long Island pitcher António Domínguez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Hive. The final score had Madison getting past the Ducks, 5-4. Domínguez went 7 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 9. Duane Fraser got credit for the win, improving to 4-7. He allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. With the win, Madison goes to 25-46, while the Ducks fall to 32-38.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Madison pinch hitter Rafael Gómez, facing Takamasa Oki, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Beehive the 5-4 win.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Gómez said in his postgame press conference.
