Enforcers Win at Frisco, 7-6
|
The Frisco Rams got a superb performance from third baseman Dusty Hicks, but the Atlantic City Enforcers still won the game, 7-6. Hicks was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Martín Pérez got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 0.2 innings. Doug Durham, credited with the save, is now 6 for 10 in save opportunities.
This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Júlio Jiménez hit a sacrifice fly. The Enforcers took the lead, 7-6.
Jiménez called the triumph "a good team win."
With the win, Atlantic City goes to 28-41, while the Rams fall to 41-31.
