Wichita starter Luis Hernández pitched effectively against the Rock River Rats at Howling Park. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Al Hrabosky Jr. notched his 15th save in 17 chances. The Wolverines bumped their record to 39-30 with this latest triumph.

Alan Isaac, the 25 overall pick in the 2030 draft, aided the Wichita cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder was 3-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Rock River manager Bruce Leah.
