Rams Bump Off Lights, 13-2
|
The Frisco Rams thumped the Phoenix Lights, 13-2, at Outlander Park. Augusto Reyes was a big reason his team got the win. Reyes went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Carlos Solís went 6 innings for Frisco to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 1 earned run. He scattered 2 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 7. His record improves to 4-2. Alberto Rafael, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities.
Reyes had a key at-bat for Frisco early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and gave Frisco an early 3-0 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Reyes told the Frisco Today.
The Rams bumped their record to 40-29 with this latest triumph.
