The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats grabbed a 4-3 win over the Jacksonville Hellcats at Hellcats Park. Buzzard's Bay catcher Juan Cruz was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk to earn player of the game honors. Ji-hwan Yea notched his 16th save in 18 chances. The Beetlecats improve their record to 35-36 with the win over Jacksonville.

With one out in the top of the fifth, Ryan Cunningham stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 82nd hit of the season and put Buzzard's Bay in front, 3-2.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Cunningham told the Buzzard's Bay Bulletin.
