Multi-HR Game for Alexander in 7-0 Win

Sandy Springs played host to Fraser Valley at the friendly confines of The Coliseum.
Behind a solid performance from left fielder Kieran Alexander, the Sandy Springs Spartans defeated the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 7-0. Alexander went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Spartans. The winner was Sandy Springs reliever Miguel Rodríguez, now 3-0. The loser was Dan Miscavage.
The Spartans got a big at-bat from center fielder Pancho Figueroa. For the game, Figueroa went 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Sandy Springs a 2-0 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Figueroa told the Sandy Springs News.
With the win, the Spartans improved to 35-31.
