The Carson City Mustang beat the Wichita Wolverines, 9-3, at Cowboys Stadium. Carson City left fielder Emory Drewry earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 5 with a triple and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Mustang bumped their record to 35-30 with this latest triumph.

Early in the game, third baseman José González had a bases-clearing double for Carson City. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Mustang on top, 3-0.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Drewry told the Carson City Today.
