Hackers Prevail, 5-3, Over Boise
|
San Jose Municipal Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Boise Hawks and Silicon Valley Hackers.
Silicon Valley Hackers starter Jose Arguinzoni was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Boise Hawks, 5-3. Arguinzoni, now 2-4, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 5, and allowing 1 earned run.
J.P. Turner hit a 2-run double off Juan Pérez in the bottom of the third, which put the Hackers in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Turner had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Turner said.
The Hackers bumped their record to 35-29 with this latest triumph.
