Though he had a great game, Jorge Hernández could not single-handedly produce a win for Silicon Valley. Boise won the game, 4-2. Hernández was named the player of the game. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. With the win, Boise goes to 31-33, while the Hackers fall to 34-29.
Boise right fielder Pete Freeman contributed to the cause with a double in the top of the first. For the game, Freeman went 1-3 with a double.
In postgame comments to the Boise Chronicle, Freeman said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
