Storm Troopers Bang Out 6-5 Win Versus Cincinnati
|
The San Antonio Storm Troopers knocked off the Cincinnati Snaps, 6-5, at The Studio. Jacob Runk, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason San Antonio won. The left fielder was 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Storm Troopers bumped their record to 36-30 with this latest triumph.
Chong-hyeon Lee went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for San Antonio. The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Octávio Pérez. It was his 27th walk of the season.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Cincinnati manager António Álvarez. "The effort was great."
