The Havana Stogies beat the Brooklyn Black Knights, 8-2, at Blue Ivy Stadium. The Stogies got a fine performance from first baseman Kohei Matsumoto, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The first-place Stogies have won 5 in a row.
