|
Frisco turned a good effort from starter Carlos Solís into a win over the Youngstown Tune-Ups at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The final score was 4-2. Solís got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Solís allowed no earned runs. Frisco goes to 37-27. The win puts them 2 games up in their division.
The Rams got a big at-bat from first baseman Toshio Matsuzaki. For the game, Matsuzaki went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season gave Frisco a 2-0 lead.
