The Wichita Wolverines grabbed a 8-2 win over the Madison Beehive at The Hive. Wichita left fielder Francisco Enriquez was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Wichita goes to 35-27. The win puts them 2 games up in their division.

Enriquez had a key at-bat for Wichita early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was his 17th double of the season and gave Wichita an early 1-0 lead.

"We came out aggressive," said Wolverines manager Dave Moran. "We came out swinging the bats."
