Victory Pushes Beetlecats Record to 33-31
|
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats bested the Atlantic City Enforcers by a score of 5-2, with third baseman Yasuhiro Nishimura getting the main credit. On the day, Nishimura went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Beetlecats. Atlantic City's current losing streak is now 6 games.
Nishimura contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Buzzard's Bay in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Nishimura took a fastball from Danny Medina and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Beetlecats to leap in front, 3-2.
