Frisco shortstop Kunihiro Shibata was instrumental in his team's 6-1 win over the Riverside Red Bulls. Shibata, who is tied for 7th in the ACL in stolen bases with 18, went 2-3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rams. Frisco reliever Ethan Harris was the winner. His record is now 4-1. The losing pitcher was Héctor Bello. Frisco has now won 8 straight.

Doug O'Leary aided the Frisco cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a double.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said O'Leary.
