7 Straight Wins for Rams
|
Frisco used a superb performance from starting pitcher Carlos Solís to down the Riverside Red Bulls, 5-1. The second-place Rams have won 7 in a row.
The Rams got a big at-bat from designated hitter Neal Thacker. For the game, Thacker was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 5th hit of the season gave Frisco a 3-1 lead.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Solís.
