Topeka beat Carson City at The Field at Richmond, eking out a 3-2 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Andrés Hernández, who earned player of the game honors. The Predators sit in 4th place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division with a record of 27-31.

Joe Lee had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth for Topeka. With the bases loaded and the Predators leading 2-1, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"I was a little disappointed," said Carson City manager Nobuharu Chikafuji. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
