Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Wolverines
The Wolverines had to overcome a good performance from San Antonio pitcher Dennis Hale to claim a 3-1 win at Howling Park. Hale went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Al Hrabosky Jr. got credit for the win, improving to 6-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. Wichita now has a 4-game win streak.

Armando Galdos was the walk-off hero for Wichita. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wolverines third baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
