The Spokane Bulldogs dealt the Fraser Valley Black Bears a 7-4 loss at The Kennel. Dan Dusin was the star on offense. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tokuhei Yano picked up the save for Spokane, his 8th of the year. Spokane goes to 33-19. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.

Dusin had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 curveball from Junichiro Kobayashi, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bulldogs a 7-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Dusin.

In postgame comments to the Spokane Daily, Dusin said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
