Hapgood Excels, Spokane Blows Out Fraser Valley
With third baseman Dale Hapgood leading the charge, the Spokane Bulldogs defeated the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 15-3, at The Kennel. Hapgood was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Tom Bennett got the win, improving to 3-1. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Spokane is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Hapgood had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Bulldogs went on to win.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Hapgood.
