Spokane right-hander António Días helped his team edge Atlantic City by the score of 3-2. Días kept the opposing lineup in check. Tokuhei Yano locked down his 7th save. The Bulldogs have an impressive 30-19 record.
Raúl Cortéz made it 3-2, Spokane, in the top of the ninth when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Bulldogs win.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Spokane manager Chris Carpenter.
