Riverside beat DeKalb on the strength of starter Héctor Bello's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 1-0 win. The 4th-place Red Bulls improved to 25-26.

The Cornhuskers had trouble solving Bello, who surrendered no earned runs on 4 hits over 6.2 innings.

Bello said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
