The Sandy Springs Spartans picked up a win at The Coliseum, knocking off the Pacifica Shamrocks, 8-3. On the mound for Sandy Springs was left-hander Chris Tattrie, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Spartans bumped their record to 24-23 with this latest triumph.

Hirofumi Ishibashi aided the Sandy Springs cause with a 2-run triple in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder was 2-5 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Ishibashi said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
