Topeka beat Jacksonville on the strength of starter Miguel Hinojosa's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 6-3 win. Ross Batstone nailed down his 8th save. The Predators bumped their record to 25-23 with this latest triumph.
Landen Jarman, who is tied for 10th in the FFL in hits with 54, aided the Topeka cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Hinojosa.
