Mustang Bang Out 6-5 Win Versus Frisco
|
Jerome Léonard did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Frisco Rams from losing, 6-5, to the Carson City Mustang at Cowboys Stadium. Léonard was 3-3 with a triple, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. Kaong Foong picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-2. He struck out 4 in 6 innings. Keith Noble earned his 5th save in 7 tries.
Kyung-jin Yun, who is tied for 10th in the FFL in triples with 2, aided the Carson City cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 2-4 with a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Yun said after the game.
Carson City is in 4th place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division with a record of 22-24.
