Despite a great performance by Atlantic City first baseman Kian-tat Au, the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats defeated the Enforcers by the score of 8-5 at Parliament Field. Au went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. Buzzard's Bay reliever Mike Salter picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Doug Durham absorbed the loss. Ji-hwan Yea earned the save for Buzzard's Bay, his 12th.

Marcos Serrano aided the Buzzard's Bay cause with a 2-run single in the top of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Serrano.

The Beetlecats bumped their record to 24-23 with this latest triumph.
