Cincinnati starter Octávio Pérez pitched effectively against the Topeka Predators at The Field at Richmond. The left-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. Shinji Makino earned the save for Cincinnati, his 9th. Even with the win, the Snaps have a dismal 14-30 record.
