Tune-Ups Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Rams

The Tune-Ups had to overcome a good performance from Frisco pitcher Barrett Lamb to claim a 4-2 win at Outlander Park. Lamb went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The third-place Tune-Ups have won 4 straight games.
Had Mark Southland not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 1st, Southland hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Tune-Ups.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Southland said.
