Buzzard's Bay left fielder Luis González had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Pacifica Shamrocks, 17-6. At 20-22, the Beetlecats are currently 4th in the Cory Lidle League Gene Mauch Division.

Marcos Serrano had a big bases-clearing double for the Beetlecats in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Buzzard's Bay leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Félix Ruíz and stroked the double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Beetlecats ahead, 5-1.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," González told the Buzzard's Bay Bulletin.
