The Portland Beavers went down to defeat to Paul Johnston and his Dallas teammates. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Texans. Johnston, now 1-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Dallas occupies third place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division at 18-19.
Wen Wei, who is tied for 10th in the RCL in stolen bases with 13, aided the Dallas cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the second. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 3 with a triple.
