The Fraser Valley Black Bears picked up a win at The Stetson Bowl, knocking off the Spokane Bulldogs, 3-2. On the mound for Fraser Valley was right-hander Bruce Patterson, who played a pivotal role in the win. Patterson, now 3-3, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Fraser Valley is now riding a 5-game win streak.
John Hardwick, the 13 overall pick in the 2029 draft, aided the Fraser Valley cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
