Phoenix Lights starter Deug-yeom Park pitched a strong game against the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats at UFO Field, leading the Lights to a 6-4 win. Phoenix, at 16-20, occupies 5th place in the Cory Lidle League Gene Mauch Division.

Harlan Sanderson, who is tied for 2nd in the ACL in RBI with 34, aided the Phoenix cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the second baseman was 2-5 with a double.

"We take it day by day here," said Sanderson, "and today was a good one for us."
