Wichita Wolverines starter Magyver McKenzie pitched a strong game against the Cincinnati Snaps at The Studio, leading the Wolverines to a 4-2 win. The winning pitcher was McKenzie, now 3-2. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 6 and fanning 10. Cincinnati now has a 5-game losing streak.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when catcher Shane Gross, who is tied for 8th in the FFL in triples with 2, drew a walk. The Wolverines went on to win.
