Storm Troopers Fall Short, 6-5, at Topeka
|
Starting pitcher Miguel Hinojosa pitched well enough to help the Topeka Predators beat the San Antonio Storm Troopers by the score of 6-5. Hinojosa got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 9 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Hinojosa allowed 3 earned runs. Ross Batstone closed it out for his 6th save.
Joe Lee, who is tied for 10th in the FFL in RBI with 27, aided the Topeka cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Lee.
The Predators bumped their record to 20-18 with this latest triumph.
