Beehive Jolt Mustang with Late Rally

The Carson City Mustang got a superb performance from center fielder Emory Drewry. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Madison. The Beehive won the game, 4-3. In spite of the loss, Drewry was named the player of the game. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times. Duane Fraser was credited with the save for Madison, his 4th of the season. Even with the win, the Beehive have a dismal 11-25 record.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when third baseman David Rivera hit a single. The Beehive went on to win.
Rivera called the win "a collective effort."
