Enforcers Win in Extras
|
Atlantic City Enforcers starter Andy Mendoza was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Marysville Monarchs, 3-2. Their 18-18 record puts the Enforcers third in the Cory Lidle League Gene Mauch Division.
Jen-kan Yi's hit in the top of the 12th was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Joël Barbier for a run-scoring double. It put Atlantic City in front, 3-2.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Atlantic City skipper Juan Guerrero.
