The Fraser Valley Black Bears did just enough to secure a 7-6 victory over the Long Island Ducks at The Stetson Bowl. Nobody did more than center fielder Justin Nance, who captured player of the game honors. The Black Bears bumped their record to 21-15 with this latest triumph.

Nance had no bigger at-bat than in the bottom of the sixth when the 21-year old center fielder hit a single. The single gave Fraser Valley the lead, 6-5. It was his 56th hit of the season.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Nance.
