Bulldogs Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Spokane Bulldogs topped the Sandy Springs Spartans, 5-3, in Bob Moose League action at The Kennel. The player of the game was Spokane pitcher Norberto Bianchi. Bianchi went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 12 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-0. Tokuhei Yano saved it for Spokane.

The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from third baseman Chia-liang Li. For the game, Li was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Spokane a 5-3 lead.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Spokane manager Chris Carpenter.
