DeLuca Goes Wild, But Black Bears Win
Long Island third baseman Nick DeLuca had a good game, even if his team did not. The Ducks dropped a 11-10 decision to Fraser Valley at The Stetson Bowl. DeLuca slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Black Bears' win now puts them at 19-14.

Jim Poole aided the Fraser Valley cause with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

Long Island manager Elvis Callahan expressed his frustration after the game: "That many runs and it still wasn't enough?"
