Alexander Goes Wild, But Cornhuskers Win
DeKalb withstood an impressive performance by Sandy Springs left fielder Kieran Alexander to defeat the Spartans, 12-6, at The Corn Crib. Alexander went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Cornhuskers bumped their record to 22-12 with this latest triumph.

José Marrero chipped in for DeKalb with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
