Rodríguez Helps Riverside Cruise to 11-1 Win
|
Behind a solid performance from right fielder Wilson Rodríguez, the Riverside Red Bulls defeated the Jacksonville Hellcats, 11-1. Rodríguez was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Red Bulls. Héctor Bello, credited with the win, is now 3-4. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 7.1 innings. Riverside is now 16-17, Jacksonville 12-21.
Rodríguez had a key at-bat for Riverside early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Riverside an early 2-0 lead.
