Bulldogs Sneak Past Ducks, 5-4
|
The Spokane Bulldogs picked up a win at Long Island Stadium, knocking off the Long Island Ducks, 5-4. Starting pitcher Gareth King was an essential part of his team's success. The Bulldogs have an impressive 21-12 record.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and one out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when center fielder Dan Dusin hit a single. The Bulldogs went on to win.
"We found a way to get it done," Dusin said.
