|
San Francisco right-hander Lester Bisdu pitched his team to victory over the Vancouver Pioneers at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. The final score was 7-4. The winning pitcher was Bisdu, now 2-4. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. Vancouver, at 14-21, has lost 4 straight.
In the top of the first inning, designated hitter Luis Álvarez came through big-time for the Earthquakes. With San Francisco leading 1-0, he belted a 3-run home run.
