Streaking Bulldogs Win Another One
|
The Spokane Bulldogs topped the Jacksonville Hellcats, 5-3, in Bob Moose League action at Hellcats Park. The player of the game was Spokane pitcher and Toronto, Canada native Eric Buffy. Javier González recorded the save for Spokane, his 1st of the season. The Hellcats fall to 9-16 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.
Alfredo Sandoval aided the Spokane cause with a 2-run single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder went 2-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Spokane manager Chris Carpenter.
