Hounsell Goes Wild, But Hornets Win
|
The Eureka Hornets overcame a good performance by Mile High first baseman Adam Hounsell to knock off Mile High, 3-2, at McNichols Stadium. Hounsell belted 2 home runs. The Hornets bumped their record to 19-17 with this latest triumph.
Frankie Zufeltini aided the Eureka cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
"Both teams played hard," said Eureka manager Stephen Jackson.
