Victory Pushes Hackers Record to 12-11
|
Silicon Valley Hackers starter Kanichi Kaneshiro was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 6-2. The Beetlecats fall to 9-15 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2033 season.
The Hackers got a big at-bat from right fielder Rob Leibbrandt. For the game, Leibbrandt was 2 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 8th double of the season gave Silicon Valley a 4-2 lead.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Kaneshiro said.
