Poindexter Helps Cincinnati Cruise to 11-3 Win
The Cincinnati Snaps topped the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 11-3, with left fielder Maurice Poindexter playing a big role. Poindexter was 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Snaps in the win. Brendan Womersley got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 6. The Black Bears drop to 10-10 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2033 season.

Poindexter had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a bases-clearing triple. The Snaps went on to win.
