Rams Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Shamrocks
The Pacifica Shamrocks got a sterling performance from pitcher Félix Ruíz, but the Rams still prevailed, 4-3. Ruíz was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 5 innings allowing 1 run. Frisco reliever Don Myers picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Royce Leveque absorbed the loss. Losses have been few and far between for the Shamrocks so far this season. Their record drops to 13-7.

The Rams got a big at-bat from designated hitter Stanton Miller. For the game, Miller was 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Frisco a 4-3 lead.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Frisco manager Will Bartlett.
