Victory Pushes Enforcers Record to 10-9
|
Parliament Field was the site of a tense game between the Boise Hawks and Atlantic City Enforcers.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Atlantic City Enforcers and the Boise Hawks, Chris Burgess was the difference-maker. The Atlantic City left-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-1 win. The Hawks fall to 9-10 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the ninth inning, but Martín Pérez didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Boise trailing 3-1, Pérez retired Claudio Padilla to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Pérez, with a wink.
