Carson City shortstop Phil Goodenough was instrumental in his team's 11-2 win over the Sandy Springs Spartans. Goodenough, who leads the FFL in bases on balls with 26, went 3-5 with 4 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Mustang. With the win, Carson City boosts its record to 9-8.

The Mustang got a big at-bat from right fielder Kyung-jin Yun. For the game, Yun was 3-6 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 3rd double of the season gave Carson City a 3-0 lead.
